Tour Itinerary:
Pickup & Departure from Las Vegas
Your adventure begins in Las Vegas with a convenient pickup from a central location. Settle aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned coach equipped with WiFi and bottled water. As you travel, your guide will introduce you to the region’s dramatic landscape and the story of the Hoover Dam’s construction.Stop 1: Mike O’Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge (approx. 20 minutes)
Arrive at the memorial bridge for a spectacular vantage point atop one of the highest pedestrian walkways in the region. Here you’ll have around 20 minutes to admire the sweeping views of the Colorado River canyon and the dam’s curved concrete face.Stop 2: Boulder City & Hoover Dam Museum Area (approx. 30 minutes)
Continue on to historic Boulder City, where the town stands as a living memory of the dam’s early era. Spend roughly half an hour exploring the visitor centre or museum exhibits in the area, absorbing local stories and taking in small-town charm.Stop 3: Hoover Dam Bypass (approx. 15 minutes)
Next, pause at the bypass route with approximately 15 minutes of viewing time. This stop offers a different angle of the dam and bridge infrastructure, giving a broader sense of the scale and the surrounding terrain.Stop 4: Hoover Dam Visit (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes)
Finally, reach the Hoover Dam itself for around 90 minutes of exploration. Walk along the top of the dam, marvel at the engineering feat, gaze across the vast reservoir and river below, and soak in the moment. Note: access to the internal power-plant tour may not be included.Return to Las Vegas
After the final stop, enjoy a relaxed ride back to your original meeting point in Las Vegas. You’ll arrive with enough time left in your day to continue exploring the city or unwind at your hotel.

Are food and beverages included in the Hoover Dam tour?
On our day trip to the Hoover Dam, the water is on us. All you can drink!
Is a gratuity expected?
Tips are accepted and appreciated for a job well done. We suggest a 10% tip minimum, which is industry standard.
What items should we bring?
Bring your camera to capture and preserve beautiful memories. A government-issued photo ID is required for all flight tours. Other helpful things to bring are beverages with a screw-on cap, sunscreen, sunglasses and cash or credit cards if you're planning to purchase anything such as souvenirs!
What should we wear?
We recommend comfortable walking shoes, and, for the summer months, wear sunblock and hats for protection. Dressing in layers is also suggested as summer monsoon storms are common. For the winter months, dress in warm clothing.
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours from the start of the tour. Cancellations received less than 24 hours from the start of the tour will not be refunded. To be considered for a refund, please email custsvc@grandcanyondestinations.com.
Are there any additional fees or surcharges?
There is no fuel surcharge, and there are no other charges on the day of the tour.

Cancellation Policy Information
As per company policy, bookings for 10 or more passengers require a 72-hour cancellation notice to qualify for a full refund. Failure to provide at least 72 hours’ notice will result in applicable cancellation fees. Any booking canceled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time is strictly non-refundable, with no exceptions. Please note that voicemail cancellations will not be acknowledged. All cancellations must be made directly to Grand Canyon Destinations. We will not accept cancellations made through a third party.
Refund Policy Information
Refunds are issued according to the applicable cancellation terms. Bookings for 10 or more passengers that are canceled at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund. If the required 72-hour notice is not provided, cancellation fees will apply and only the eligible remaining balance, if any, will be refunded. Any booking canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time is strictly non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for no-shows or unused services. We will process approved refunds within one to seven (1–7) days from receipt of your request. All refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, and the time it takes for funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your financial institution.
Additional Information
Some tours may require a minimum number of guests to operate. A smaller replacement vehicle may be used in place of a full-size bus. If the tour is canceled, the affected customer will be fully refunded or may choose to take the tour on another day or select a similar tour product as a substitute. Please keep in mind that should a cancellation occur it would be under very special and rare circumstances. We make every effort to accommodate our customers’ requests.
